Service Description

This 6 week series is designed to nourish and restore body and mind in the first weeks and months postpartum. You will learn foundational principles for restoring your deep core that you can apply to any movement practice and your everyday activities. We'll be paying extra attention to finding strength and balance in the pelvis and hips, easing the tension in the neck, back and shoulders from all those long hours caregiving, and exploring breath practices to foster calm and connection. You can expect to forge friendships and build your virtual village as you share your parenting joys and struggles with the same group of people each week. Early parenthood is a time of profound transition. Yoga and mindfulness can help with the intensity of caring for your baby and support you in finding connection to yourself and your loved ones on your parenting journey. Intended for new parents who are at least 6 weeks postpartum and have been cleared to exercise by their care providers. Suitable after any kind of birth and for all types of families. This series is an ideal adjunct to rehabilitation for core dysfunctions such as diastasis recti (DRA) or pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Please reach out to if you want to discuss whether this is the right series for you. All sessions are recorded and available to you through a private password protected area for the the 6 weeks of the series and a further 6 weeks afterwards. ***No class on October 13***
